Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Plus Platforms LLP (“Plus”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Plus website and application available at plusapp.com (the “Interface”). Plus is a non-custodial, self-custody interface for interacting with public blockchains and third-party protocols. We do not take custody of your crypto assets and we never have access to your private keys or seed phrase.
Please read this Policy together with our Terms of Use. By using the Interface, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Interface.
Information we do not collect
Because the Interface is non-custodial and does not require you to create an account, we are built to operate with as little personal information as possible. In particular, we do not collect, hold, or have access to:
- your private keys, secret recovery phrase, or wallet passwords;
- custody or control of your crypto assets or funds;
- account credentials — the Interface has no sign-up, username, or password; and
- identity-verification (KYC) documents such as government IDs, unless we expressly tell you otherwise at the point of collection.
Information we collect and process
Wallet and blockchain information
When you connect a self-custody wallet (for example Phantom or Solflare), the Interface reads your public wallet address and uses it to display your token balances, holdings, and portfolio, and to build the swap transactions that you choose to sign. Transactions you approve are broadcast to and recorded on the relevant public blockchain. Public blockchains are transparent, pseudonymous, and permanent: once a transaction is confirmed, it cannot be changed or deleted by us or anyone else, and your public address and transaction history may be visible to third parties.
Technical and usage data
When you use the Interface, our servers and infrastructure providers automatically receive certain technical data, including your IP addressand standard request metadata (such as browser/device characteristics and timestamps). We use this data to operate and secure the Interface — in particular for rate limiting, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and maintaining the integrity and performance of our services. Limited error and diagnostic information may be written to server logs.
Information stored on your device
The Interface stores a small amount of data in your browser’s local storage to remember your preferences — currently your default “quick buy” amount. This information stays on your device, is not an advertising or tracking identifier, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Information you provide to us
If you contact us, request support, or otherwise voluntarily submit information to us (for example through a form or a waitlist that we may offer from time to time), we will process the information you choose to give us — such as a social media handle or email address — in order to respond to and manage your request.
How we use information
- to provide, operate, and maintain the Interface and its features;
- to fetch on-chain balances, token data, price charts, and swap quotes, and to construct transactions you choose to sign;
- to protect the Interface and our users — including rate limiting, fraud and abuse prevention, and security monitoring;
- to debug, analyse, and improve performance and reliability;
- to respond to your enquiries and provide support; and
- to comply with applicable law and to enforce our Terms of Use.
Third-party service providers
The Interface relies on third-party infrastructure and data providers to function. When you use the relevant features, limited information is shared with these providers strictly as needed to deliver the service. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. These providers include:
- Jupiter— swap routing, token search, trending tokens, quotes, and transaction execution. Receives token addresses, amounts, and the signed transactions you submit.
- Birdeye— market data and price/chart data. Receives token addresses and requested time ranges.
- Helius— Solana RPC and wallet holdings lookups. Receives your public wallet address and related on-chain queries.
- Upstash— rate-limiting infrastructure used to protect our endpoints from abuse, which processes a short-lived counter keyed to your IP address.
- Hosting and content-delivery providers— used to host and serve the Interface, which receive standard request and network data.
- Your wallet provider— the self-custody wallet you connect (such as Phantom or Solflare) handles key storage and transaction signing under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Form/communications storage— where you submit a form to us, the details you provide may be stored with our database provider to process your request.
Price charts are rendered in your browser using a client-side charting library and do not, by themselves, transmit your information to us.
Blockchain transparency
Activity that you broadcast to a public blockchain — including your public address, the tokens you hold, and the transactions you make — is recorded on a public, decentralised ledger that is outside our control. We cannot modify, conceal, or delete information once it has been written to the blockchain. You should assume that on-chain activity is permanent and publicly viewable.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell personal information. The Interface uses your device’s local storage for the limited preference described above and relies on standard security headers. Third-party providers may set their own cookies or use similar technologies under their own policies.
Data retention
We keep technical data such as security logs and rate-limiting counters only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy; rate-limiting counters are short-lived and expire automatically. Information you submit to us directly is retained for as long as necessary to handle your request and to meet our legal, accounting, or compliance obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Security
We maintain administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we process, including server-side handling of sensitive API keys, request rate limiting, encryption in transit (HTTPS/HSTS), and a content security policy. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because the Interface is non-custodial, the security of your wallet, keys, and recovery phrase remains your responsibility.
International transfers
Plus Platforms LLP is established in India, and our service providers may store and process data in countries other than the one in which you are located. Where information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data — for example under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, or other applicable laws. These may include the right to access, correct, update, or delete certain information, to withdraw consent, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. Please note that we cannot alter or remove information that is recorded on a public blockchain, as that data is outside our control.
Children
The Interface is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the Interface after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
